The installation hangs and never ends, why is that?

The first thing you should do is check the Windows event viewer for the error message it is throwing at you.
The main causes of this problem are:

  • You ran the installer without administration permissions. We recommend that you use the Administrator user.
  • Only if your antivirus is McAfee should you disable it. You have to check that you deactivated it.

Then you must cancel the installation in progress. If it doesn’t stop, use the task manager to kill the RPA Suite Processes.

When the RPA Suite installer has finished you must:

  1. Reboot the machine.
  2. Run the installer.
  3. If it offers you the option to uninstall, uninstall and go back to step 1.
  4. Perform a normal installation.

Only if your antivirus is McAfee, remember that you must set the RPA Suite installation directory as an exception in this antivirus.
